Policy Conditions
- A valid photo ID and date of trek confirmation are required for claim eligibility.
- Eligibility: This policy is applicable only to individuals pre-registered for trekking or adventure activities under x metre altitude, officially booked via Pahadi Treks.
- Definition of Adventure Activities: These include only those activities booked officially, conducted under professional supervision, and conforming to all relevant regulations.
- Coverage starts from Day 1 of the itinerary and ends on the last day of the itinerary booked with Pahadi Treks.
- This rate is not valid for mountaineering, even if below x metre.
Enrolment Process
- The list of registered participants is submitted daily by Pahadi Treks to {{INSURANCE_PROVIDER}}.
- To initiate a claim, the following are mandatory:
- Indemnity bond
- Original booking receipt
- Valid photo ID
- Proof of registered activity
- Evidence that the event occurred during the insured itinerary
- Indemnity bond
Claim Procedure
- In case of an incident, the client must:
- Inform {{INSURANCE_PROVIDER}} immediately
- Pahadi Treks will confirm eligibility
- The claim must be filed directly with {{INSURANCE_PROVIDER}}, along with all required documents
- Inform {{INSURANCE_PROVIDER}} immediately
- Maximum liability of {{INSURANCE_PROVIDER}} is capped per individual UHID (Unique ID).
- Claims must be reported within 7 days of the incident.
- All supporting documentation must be submitted within 30 days.
- No premium refund for deletions post activity commencement.
- Premium is charged on a per-trip basis, and endorsements are applicable only from the date of addition.
Exclusions
This policy does not cover:
- Suicide or self-inflicted injuries
- Mental health issues, stress, or STDs
- Substance abuse or intoxication-related incidents
- Criminal acts or breaches of law
- Pregnancy or childbirth-related complications
- Professional sports-related incidents
- Participation in racing or motor-sport events
- Aviation-related activities (except fare-paying passengers)
- Underground mining or tunneling work
- Nuclear, radioactive or radiation exposure
- Pre-existing medical conditions (declared or not)
- Flight delays, cancellations, or rescheduling
- Evacuation without prior approval
Age eligibility: x to y years
Note: This policy is valid only for Indian nationals or expats working in India.
Limitation of Liability
Pahadi Treks and {{INSURANCE_PROVIDER}} shall not be liable for any loss due to:
- Delay in evacuation, hospital admission, or medical treatment
- Any incident arising from unforeseen or uncontrollable events
Pahadi Treks acts only as a facilitator. Final decisions on claims rest solely with {{INSURANCE_PROVIDER}}.
Cancellation Policy
- 100% refund if cancelled 7+ days before trek start
- 20% cancellation fee if cancelled within 3–6 days
- 30% cancellation fee if cancelled within 48 hours
- No refund for cancellations after trek has begun
Terms and Conditions
1. Misrepresentation & Fraud
In case of fraud, negligence, or misrepresentation by the proposer, {{INSURANCE_PROVIDER}} is not liable, and the proposer will be held responsible for all resulting consequences and costs.
2. Accuracy of Information
Clients are solely responsible for submitting correct information. Inaccurate details may lead to loss of coverage, with {{INSURANCE_PROVIDER}} bearing no responsibility.
3. Force Majeure
Neither party will be liable for non-performance caused by events beyond control (natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.). Such delays or failures will not be considered breaches of this agreement.
4. Severability Clause
If any clause in these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
5. Jurisdiction
All legal matters shall be governed under Indian law, with exclusive jurisdiction in the Hon’ble High Court of New Delhi and its subordinate courts.

Specific Terms & Conditions:
• This Travel Insurance policy is only limited to customers of Asego Global Assistance Pvt LTd. & travelling within India Region through
Road Mode
• Certificate if only valid to the customers who are Permanent resident of India and travelling on Road mode on bike trip.
• The Coverage will commence at the start of your bike tour, as organised by the tour operator, on the date and time as specified in the
certificate of Insurance and will terminate either upon your return to the designated endpoint of your tour arranged by the tour
operator or on the trip end date as end date as specified in the certificate of Insurance whichever occurs first.
• “Eligibility: You must be of at least age 18 to 70 years old on the policy Start date.”
• “Personal Accident” covers are applicable for Accident claims only.
• Any pre-existing condition(s) are excluded from the policy.
• This policy excludes coverage for sporting activities, including training or participation in professional or semi-professional sports
competition or adventure sports, unless “Sports Injury / Illness (Adventure and/or Professional Sports)” cover is specifically opted for
by the Insured & limits for coverage has been clearly mentioned in the “Coverages” section of the Certificate of Insurance, upon
payment of extra premium at the inception of the policy. When opting for Sports Injury (Adventure and/or Professional Sports), the
policy extends coverage to include activities outlined in Adventure sports, activities and Experiences, Level 1,2 as stated in the policy
wordings.
• The Insured / Insured Person shall provide the Company with the details of the trip and other information as may be required by the
Company from time to time. Policy Cancellation is not allowed post trip start date.
• The total premium due must be paid on or before the Effective Date of the coverage under the Certificate of Insurance, otherwise no
coverage shall be effective.
• Deductible will be charged for each separate incidence reported for claims payment, even though the claim may be registered under
the same cover more than once.
